Wassup guys. How are ya'll? I'm feeling good... it's summer. I finally got a group of friends together and stormed the mall. We saw the Transformers movie... It was a lot better then I thought it would be!!

We also spent time making fun of people even nerdier then us, haha. Fun!

So what's new? Any new jobs/locations? I hope life is treating you well.

It was nice to come back to Deviantart after a break. What can I say, I missed you guys!!

Okay well I just moved most of my pics to scraps. I think I will be uploading some pictures soon. Time to go see what's new with you all!

Hi guys!!
I am a total liar... in my last journal, I promised to look at all the deviations I've missed... I'm over 1000 now..

Oh well! Im still on vacation which means its time to get cracking!!
I spent the last 2 hours drawing... It felt rather... relaxing? Not really. I haven't drawn with a pencil and paper in a long time. I miss my tablet at school. Drawing is pretty awkward because I have grown lazy, with the computer doing all the work for me. I wish erasing was that easy!


OH! And great news!!!
I haven't updated my new drawings in a long time. But I think I've really improved! My digital arts teacher came up behind me when  was drawing. He asked me if I got it off the internet. When I said I drew it, he got so excited!! He told me it was amazing and he wanted me to go into illustrating for an occupation and he would help me build a portfolio... IT WAS AWESOME... I came to school the next day to find he printed it on the brand new paper ($10 bucks a print! wut!) and gave me a free copy! And he put his own copy on the wall... he'd only done that for ONE other pic out of his 100 other students... I am so happy...


I've noticed that listening to certain songs really gets me inspired, is that where your inspiration comes from?

Especially songs off Bjork's albums, and Sigur Ros's Starlafur.
I tried drawing a storyboard of a video I want to make to that song. I was sitting in bed listening to it in the dark, and I just had such a wonderful vision for it. However, I saw that once I tried to write it down on paper, that almost magical feeling was lost..
Does that happen to anyone else?

It is past midnight... I'm pretty tired!

I am driving now!
I got my learner's permit.
My first driving course was an epic fail. I ended up crying and everything! Very embarrassing.  But I am much more comfortable with it now. I think it was my hormones freaking me out before... @_@

Also I've been playing lots of Dragon Quest, what a fun game!

So tell me.... how are you guys?

In my Digital arts class, amazing resources have been pouring in! We just got 3 new 10 Mega pixel cameras, a huge frikin scanner, and like 500 pieces of some sorta fancy print paper. And thats just this week!
I am honored even further by being placed in a slideshow of "Best Student Work"... and that includes all the years my teacher has taught Digital Arts... it is a really big achievement for me. I don't think he knows how much I appreciate his support. He even lends me art books of his own. I have not uploaded my any of my recent artworks. I think I have improved dramatically! Or at least, I hope. Now I make all my works 100% digital.

Thanks for all the support guys. I love ya all... Sorry for the long goneness and the long journal too..

P.S. I am seeing Pan's Labyrinth tomorrow, have you guys seen that yet?

I hope everyone had a really great Thanksgiving! And if you don't celebrate it, I hope you had a good day anyway!

I had a great time with my parents. Now that all my sisters have moved, this was our first time with just the 3 of us. It was nice! I made the deviled eggs and helped fry the turkey B) Oh and of course we had Hawaiin rolls, God's gift to men. Wow. I love those...

So here's a link that my dig. arts teacher showed us. Hopefully you will use it, I have done some research and it actually looks legit! I generated a cup of food and saved 11.4 feet of the rainforest XD

So I just finished a cup of chai tea with some honey.... so good, and so much better drinking out of those fancy china wine glasses we break out over the holidays for our Sparkling cider. I appreciate my parents doing great things for me. Tonight, we played cards, and earlier they let me loose- at the mall-alone! This might not seem like a big deal but is definately a step up on my responsibilty chart.
I got gifts for everyone, I am so excited! I hope they like them.


So about the sketches! Thanks for those who "signed up"
I finished most of them but I am unsatisfied, so I think I will redo them. :/ Thanks for your patience!
